New standard emphasizes customer satisfaction,
improvement
Wallingford, CT (USA) - DNE Technologies, a manufacturer
of tactical voice and data communication solutions, announces that
it has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification. ISO 9001:2000 is
a newly designed standard which focuses on continual process improvement,
as well as customer input into areas such as new product development,
problem resolution, and satisfaction. DNE has been certified as
an ISO 9001 company since 1997.
DNE Technologies' President and CEO William
Gill stated, "This certification places emphasis on the role
of the customer throughout the entire company. It shows we have
the processes in place to give our customers a voice in everything
from new product development to satisfaction with our service. It
is a dedication to quality from each and every one of our employees
that earned us this certification." He added that the company
had been working for well over a year to improve the Quality Management
System to comply with the new standard.
DNE Technologies provides network access products
that efficiently transports information in both broadband and narrowband
applications while retaining compatibility with existing legacy
systems, providing a cost-effective and seamless transition to Network
Centric Operations. DNE's primary customers are the U.S. Department
of Defense and System Integrators designing communication systems
for tactical and Homeland Security applications.
