New version AN/FCC-100(V)9 includes SNMP management
Wallingford, CT (USA) - DNE Technologies, Inc.
a provider of voice and data communication solutions, announces
a new version of the AN/FCC-100 Multiplexer. The new version, nomenclatured
as the AN/FCC-100(V)9, includes SNMP management capabilities in
addition to the sophisticated data interface and voice compression
features available in previous versions.
The AN/FCC-100(V)9 SNMP agent is compatible with popular SNMP network
management packages and supports central supervision of configuration
and alarms. With the AN-FCC-100(V)9, the SNMP manager can edit configurations
off-line and then download the configuration to a remote multiplexer
before activating the configuration across a link. Errors within
the communication network are reported to and are often correctable
from a central location.
Other features of the AN-FCC-100(V)9 include flexible timing options,
built-in test and loopback capabilities, and asymmetric operation.
The AN-FCC-100(V)9 multiplexer supports both digital and analog
(VF) user interfaces and a wide variety of system timing configurations.
The AN-FCC-100(V)9 is available as a 7" high rack-mount version
with up to sixteen user interfaces. It supports digital interfaces
in both asynchronous and synchronous formats at rates from 50 bps
to 768 kbps.
DNE voice ports are available separately for the AN-FCC-100(V)9,
as two-wire POTS or four-wire E & M ports. The two-wire interfaces
support STU-III phones in either clear or secure modes. Channels
can be configured with LPC on FXS and FXO interfaces, CELP, or u-law
PCM compression rates. In addition, E & M voice ports can be
configured for CVSD, ADPCM, LD-CELP and LD-CELP Secure.
Accessories for the AN-FCC-100(V)9 include the DNE 6400, an ISDN
converter for allowing existing digital networks to pass ISDN traffic,
including video teleconferencing; and a CV-2048 NRZ to CDI Converter
to enable router use at data rates up to 2048 kbps and remote video
teleconferencing up to 3.2 Km from the AN-FCC-100(V)9.
