Wallingford, CT (USA) – Ultra Electronics - DNE Technologies, a provider of tactical voice and data communication solutions, announces that Frontline Communications will be a distributor of DNE’s TAC Multiservice Access Concentrator product line. DNE’s TAC Multiservice Access units provide the capability to deliver additional applications to support Command and Control communications in bandwidth sparse environments. DNE’s TAC units effectively consolidate bandwidth in order to make additional communication applications, such as video, Internet, database access and two-way radio, available to remote locations simultaneously. Frontline Communications, a division of AK Specialty Vehicles, manufactures turnkey custom command and communications vehicles for use in emergency response management, surveillance, and other mobile communication systems. DNE and Frontline will be showcasing this joint solution at the NGCST Commander’s Conference in San Antonio, TX from March 7-10, 2005.
DNE’s TAC Multiservice Access Concentrator can aid with interoperability between various response agencies, including support for both legacy equipment and broadband networks. The TAC’s small form factor and light weight make it ideal for use in mission critical command and control deployments, in both military and civilian applications. Its superior interoperability with multiple services and protocols make it a cost-effective solution to bandwidth restrictions, and an ideal addition to the Frontline Communication suite of offerings.
Frontline Communications, located in Clearwater, FL, focuses on providing high-quality, cost-effective mobile command and control centers for rapid and emergency deployments. These vehicles have applications in Homeland Security, mobile command posts for federal, state, and local governments, surveillance, and emergency management teams. Each vehicle can be equipped with satellite, microwave, or UHF communication systems.
